This fella thought he would haul out for a rest in the middle of the ramp onto the beach in Hartlepool yesterday, 5th April. ⛱️
The seal already had a green spot sprayed on its rear flippers from when our medic, Dan, checked the seal the evening before.
The seal just needed a bit of monitoring whilst people were out walking their dogs so another medic, Alison, stayed with the seal for a couple of hours before it returned to the water with a little help from the RSPCA. 🌊
