We are calling for supporters to sign this petition to help extend protection against disturbance and harm to seals around the country, where legislation is still unfortunately lacking.
This has all been kickstarted after the sad death of the common seal known as ‘Freddie Mercury’ in the River Thames following a shocking dog attack a few weeks ago. Although an extreme example, this is a significant and growing issue that we are seeing and hearing more about every year around our coastline, and we do not want Freddie’s death to have been in vain.
