Update 12.20pm – The first group of boats are in position and are gently moving the whales towards the mouth of the loch. Once there, they will form a barrier and the next group will take over. There will be other boats in position to prevent the animals turning in the wrong direction. The shore-based teams are located at various locations and will monitor all other movements on the water including small craft and any other disturbances.
