This common seal pup was found on Vaul Beach, Tiree by a local couple waking their dogs. They returned the next day and found it still there so called us for help.
With no mum in sight, the pup was taken to Coll and Tiree vets where it was looked after overnight, before being put on a ferry the next day for ongoing care at a wildlife hospital.
Sadly the pup died during the crossing, the cause was unknown but probably as a result of maternal separation.
