Our team in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire have been busy over the summer with lots of fundraising and awareness events on our behalf. Medics took part in a dragon boat race with a team of seventeen rowers including doctors, nurses and friends, and raised over £1000 for us! The team was also involved in many other events including a mud run with the Yorkshire seal group, the Withernsea Blue Light fest, Festival of the Sea and Waters Edge Wildlife day.
Area Coordinator, Chris Cook, said “We are so proud of our whole team of Medics who all put in so much effort to fundraise around the year, not to mention our fundraising team who are forever helping to plan new and exciting ways to fundraise for BDMLR!”
