New marine wildlife watching code of conduct launched!

BDMLR are excited to share the launch of a new national Government-backed wildlife watching code of conduct!

Over the last couple of years we have been working with colleagues at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Marine Management Organisation, Natural England and other NGOs to help advise on putting this important document together.

Marine wildlife disturbance is one of the biggest threats animals face around the whole of the country alongside climate change and pollution, but potentially the easiest to solve through education for behaviour and attitude change towards wildlife by anyone using the coasts and seas.

Help us promote and share this code, which we hope will encourage people to minimise or prevent these issues from happening in the future and make the homes the animals live in a happier one!
